I wish to dedicate this book to all of you who are striving to
make a positive difference in this world.
I am sure that on a daily basis, we all come across situations,
people and circumstances that generate within us negative
and challenging emotions. When we look around us locally,
nationally and globally we will find ourselves witness to acts
of human destruction and difficulty that step over the bounds
of what must surely constitute the qualities of what it is to be a
decent and caring human being.
However, in noticing a problem, we are actually being
presented with an opportunity.
We define ourselves not only through our good experiences…
but also through those experiences that challenge us and push
us to our limits.
It is my experience that the greatest changes… that make the
greatest difference, take place within the ‘ordinariness’ of our
everyday, real lives.
