Speaking Practice

Let’s practice your speaking.

1) This task requires a group of four to five persons.

2) Read the text “The Four Dragons” again to prepare a simple

role-play.

3) Each person in the group is cast to be one character in the

story.

Person A as the Long Dragon

Person B as the Yellow Dragon

Person C as the Black Dragon

Person D as the Pearl Dragon

Person E as the Jade emperor and the narrator

4) Discuss the dialogue while paying attention to the expressions

that will be delivered when performing “The Four Dragons”.

p.s: For individual practice, you may retell the story in its order in

front of anyone you know e.g. parents, siblings, friends.
