Here at the Austin Salt Cave, we do what’s called Halotherapy. During our
45-minuteHalotherapy sessions, we’re pumping salt infused air into the
salt room. The whole time you’re breathing in minuscule salt particles,
coating the entirety of your respiratory tract as well as getting it on your
skin. The salt then draws moisture to it, reducing inflammation in the
respiratory tract and on the skin. Extra fluid pulled into the lungs thins
out mucus, allowing it to be more easily expelled. On top of all that, salt is
antimicrobial! We are located behind The Grove in Lakeway.
