When we look at plant life, we probably don’t
give much thought to the process of a plant’s
growth. A seed germinates in the soil and as the
plant breaks through the soil and is kissed by
the sunlight, photosynthesis occurs and the
sun’s energy helps nourish the plant. All that the
plant requires for survival is light, water, and
nutrients from the soil. In the animal kingdom,
survival is dependent on instinct. Animals have
