PRESENTING THE 2016 QUALITY PERFORMANCE REPORT
The Shoulder and Upper Limb (SUL) Unit, located in Burjeel Hospital, is pleased to introduce its Quality Performance Report for 2016. SUL offers
a full complement of services for the shoulder and upper limb. As the only sub-specialized Unit of its kind in the region, we pride ourselves on the
quality of our services and strongly believe in being open and transparent about our performance.
Our Goals include Providing:
1) Quality Care
2) Efficient Care
3) A Superior Patient Experience
Each of the above goals has ambitious objectives tied to them, which require physician commitment and active involvement, hospital cooperation,
and a dedicated Shoulder and Upper Limb Unit support team composed of physiotherapists, nurses and administrative personnel, all focused on
the above three goals.
While 2016 was only our first year of operations, we were able to deliver on the large majority of our objectives. We believe that our results speak
for themselves and we invite you to review them in this report. We also believe that there is always room for improvement, so we also share some
of our quality improvement initiatives.
We invite you to review the enclosed report of our 2016 objectives and our performance, and we welcome any feedback or questions.
If you have any questions or would like to discuss our results, please do not hesitate to contact us at info@shoulder.ae.
Yours in Health,
