Employees who have any concerns about relationships within the business should notify the Human Resources Department as soon as possible.
6-9. Employee Reference Checks
The Human Resources Director, as custodian of employee records, is the only authorized person able to provide employee information to anyone requesting such information from the company.
Should Erbe be contacted for professional reference or employment verification, Human Resources will release dates of employment and the position(s) held during the time of employment. Any further details regarding an employee’s employment require court order or the employee’s explicit written consent.
Please do not respond to any direct requests for information regarding another employee. If a reference request is received, refer the caller to Human Resources.
6-10. PersonnelRecords
Erbe relies on the accuracy of employment applications as well as other information provided by employees during application, onboarding, and employment processes. It is the employee’s responsibility to certify that all information provided is accurate, including after employment begins. An applicant’s or employee’s falsification or misrepresentation on an employment record or application is strictly prohibited and will subject such employee or applicant to discipline up to and including ineligibility for hire or discharge. Employees wishing to review their personnel files must contact Human Resources to make an appointment. Keep in mind that all personnel records are stored and secured electronically.
Personal Information Updates
Employees who need to change any information relating to employment records, must contact the Human Resources department. Some examples of personnel data to keep current are below:
 Name
 Marital status
 Personal mailing address
 Home telephone, cell phone and fax machine numbers  Emergency contact information
 Number of eligible dependents
 W-4 deductions
6-11. Safe Operation of Vehicles
All employees authorized to drive Company owned or leased vehicles or personal vehicles in conducting Company business must possess a current, valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record. Any change in an employee’s driving record or license status must be reported to management immediately.
