NJCAA Cross Country Coaches Association Awards
1. Regional Coaches of the Year (Men/Women) – Online coaches voting to take place after NJCAA regional competitions.
The ballot shall consist of the following:
a. Coaches of the top-two team finishers at each NJCAA regional competition
b. Write-in candidates
2. Regional Athletes of the Year (Men/Women) – Online coaches voting to take place after NJCAA regional competitions.
The ballot shall consist of the following:
a. Individual champions of each NJCAA regional competition
b. Write-in candidates
3. NJCAA Division I Cross Country Coach of the Year (Men/Women) – Online coaches voting to take place after the NJCAA
Division I Cross Country Championship. The ballot shall consist of the following:
a. Regional Coaches of the Year
b. Coaches of the top-four team finishers at the NJCAA Division I Cross Country Championship
c. Write-in candidates
4. NJCAA Division I Cross Country Scholar-Athlete of the Year (Men/Women) – Awarded to top finisher at the NJCAA
Division I Cross Country Championship with an individual GPA of 3.4 or better for the fall semester.

5. Runners finishing 16 through 25 place at the NJCAA Division I Cross Country Championship shall be presented an All-
American certificate. Certificate to be presented off-site.
6. Scholar All-America Certificates (Men/Women) – Student-athletes with an individual GPA of 3.4 or better, full-time
students (NJCAA exemption) during semester of competition and are on team roster for regional or national competition
are eligible.
7. Scholar All-America Team of the Year Certificates (Men/Women) – Team average GPA of 3.2 or better (5 individual
GPA’s minimum). Individual team member certificates with GPA between 3.39-2.75 that contributes to team average
GPA.
8. NJCAA Division I Cross Country/Track Program of the Year (Men/Women) – Awarded annually at the conclusion of the
outdoor track & field season. Each program receives points (first place = 1 point, second place = 2 points, etc.) based on
their finish at each of the three NJCAA championships (cross country, indoor track & field, and outdoor track & field).
Award shall be presented to the program with fewest total points.
*Awards to be ordered and paid by the Coaches Association.
