e. Eligibility Committee Officers: Considerations for NJCAA officers who are selecting committee.
i. Chairperson may be a Board of Regent’s member for continuity of communication, but other members may
be a member of the Board of Regents, a Region Director, or an Assistant Region Director.
ii. If Chairperson is not a member of the Board of Regents, he/she will be invited to attend Board of Regent’s
meetings as non-voting member.
iii. Chairperson may not serve on any other committee or in any other Board of Regent’s capacity, such as
Treasurer, Secretary or Administrator.
iv. Committee Chair – only votes in case of tie
v. There will be 10 voting members plus the Chairperson, the NJCAA Office Staff, and ex-officio member
rotating off.
vi. Vice Chair will be chosen by Officers (1 vote)
vii. Men & Women’s Administrators (2 votes) – Both members of Board of Regents
viii. Division I Representatives (2 votes) - Two members will serve on the committee from Division I Schools
ix. Division II Representatives (2 votes) - Two members will serve on the committee from Division II Schools
x. Division III Representatives (2 votes) - Two members will serve on the committee from Division III Schools
xi. Presidential Advisory Council (1 vote) – Selected by the PAC
xii. NJCAA Office Eligibility Staff Member non-voting ex-officio
xiii. NJCAA Officers will choose (based on performance on the committee) - One non-voting, ex-officio Eligibility
Committee Member rotating off from previous term.
Section 6. The following shall be standing councils of the NJCAA:

Student Athlete Academic Success Division I Council Division II Council
Council
Division III Council

A. PRESIDENTIAL ADVISORY COUNCIL
a. Election of Representatives
i. Each region shall have one PAC representative annually; however, these will continue to be broken up into the
following districts:
1. The Southwest District shall be comprised of Regions 1, 2, 5 and 14.
2. The Northwest District shall be comprised of Regions 6, 9, 13 and 18.
3. The Central District shall be comprised of Regions 4, 11, 16 and 24.
4. The Northeast District shall be comprised of Regions 3, 15, 19 and 21.
5. The Southeast District shall be comprised of Regions 8, 17, 22 and 23.
6. The East Central District shall be comprised of Regions 7, 10, 12 and 20.
B. DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION COUNCIL
a. To recommend practices and programs to support diversity and inclusion efforts throughout the NJCAA.
C. ATHLETIC TRAINERS, HEALTH AND SAFETY COUNCIL
a. To provide information and insight to promote the welfare and well-being of all student-athletes.
D. STUDENT ATHLETE ACADEMIC SUCCESS COUNCIL
a. To recommend practices to support the success of Student-Athletes.
E. DIVISION I COUNCIL
a. To review and provide leadership and insight into aspects for all Division I Sports.
F. DIVISION II COUNCIL
a. To review and provide leadership and insight into aspects for all Division II Sports.
G. DIVISION III COUNCIL
a. To review and provide leadership and insight into aspects for all Division III Sports.
