Processes
Section 1 – Elections
A. Nominations for any coaches association must take place between March 1st and April 1st to begin the
following fiscal year
B. Elections must take place between April 2nd – May 1
st
a. The following positions must be elected – President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary
C. The term runs from August 1st – July 31st of each year
D. Length of officer terms are set by the individual coaches association not to exceed two years
E. Elections must be managed through the national office liaison
F. Each paying institution is entitled to one vote
Section 2 – Hall of Fame Inductions
A. Hall of Fame nominations must be sent by the Coaches Association President to the NJCAA National
Office liaison.
a. Sports of Volleyball, Soccer, Football, Wrestling, Bowling, & Swimming and Diving between May 1st

& May 31
b. Sports of Basketball, Baseball, Softball, Lacrosse, Track and Field, Cross Country, Tennis & Golf
between September 1st – September 30

B. Voting will be conducted by the national office liaison for the following:
a. Sports of Volleyball, Soccer, Football, Wrestling, Bowling, & Swimming and Diving between June
1st & June 30
th
b. Sports of Basketball, Baseball, Softball, Lacrosse, Track and Field, Cross Country, Tennis & Golf
between October 1st and October 31st
C. Voting must incorporate all member colleges who have paid membership dues during that year- limit
one vote per college.
D. Hall of Fame Inductions will be announced publicly by the NJCAA national office during the week of
championships for each of these sports.
E. Coaches associations must determine how to honor the recipients and let the national office know by
the following dates:
a. Sports of Volleyball, Soccer, Football, Wrestling, Bowling, & Swimming and Diving by July 15
th
b. Sports of Basketball, Baseball, Softball, Lacrosse, Track and Field, Cross Country, Tennis & Golf
between November 15
th
F. Individual Coaches Associations are responsible for notifying the recipients of any plans/awards
G. Coaches association presidents are responsible for working with the NJCAA national office liaison to

order Hall of Fame awards by the same dates of July 15 and November 15 (form to be completed)
Section 3 – Finances
A. Budgets must be submitted by the President of the CA to the NJCAA National Office liaison by
November 15th of each year and approved by the body, the Treasurer and the President
B. All expenses that require reimbursement must be emailed to the NJCAA national office liaison and
accompanied by a completed digital copy of the NJCAA reimbursement, scanned copies of all
receipts, and signatory approval of the sport association president – if president, will be approve by
national office
C. All coaches associations are allowed to use the standard federal per diem rates
D. Any association that provides any amount of a stipend to an individual must request those to be
paid in writing to the NJCAA national office liaison with the following information
