Wrap UP
On the third day, the event moved to University Golf Club for a seminar sponsored by Envu. Pam Paquet of Pam Paquet & Associates Performance Management, a master level facilitator and corporate trainer, delivered an excellent presentation titled “Beyond Words: Mastering Workplace Communication in Challenging Situations”. She engaged the audience and provided insights on how they can effectively communicate with their own teams.
Following the seminar, golfers played University Golf Club for the BCGSA Exchange Event and enjoyed another fun-filled, rain-free 18-holes of golf. A mouth-watering buffet welcomed the golfers after their round which was followed by awards and acknowledgements. Thank you to host Superintendent Phil Bunting and his team for providing beautiful playing conditions.
Thank you to both golf courses and their Food and Beverage teams, Proshop teams and Outside Services teams for the special attention to the all-around details of the events and for their warm hospitality.
Congratulations to Kaleb Fisher, Superintendent, Chilliwack Golf Club as the low overall gross champion with a score of 69 and Gary Stadnek, Superintendent, Okanagan Golf Club as the low net champion with a score of 72.
Team BC is the new champion of the Provincial Challenge Cup dethroning Team Manitoba who won the cup two years in a row. The players on Team BC consisted of Gary Stadnek, Aaron Mansbridge, Greg Bond and Chad de Groot.
Team BC was the big winner of the Provincial Challenge Cup.
