As we recognize Prostate, Breast and Lung Cancer Awareness months, NRMC Cancer Center encourages men and women in our community to join us in the ght against cancer by getting an annual screening exam. Lung cancer is the second most common cancer (excluding skin cancer) and is the leading cause of cancer deaths in the United States. As many as 20% of Americans diagnosed with lung cancer never smoked.
