Alice A. Lytle
Ms. Lytle was the first African American woman to serve on
the court. Starting in 1983, she served on Sacramento
Municipal Court as well as Sacramento County Superior
Court. She retired in 2002.
Marian Ash
Ms. Ash served as California BPW President in 1982. She
was the Director of the First Commission on the Status of
Women in California. She also served on the National
Commission and was Director of Training for the CA
Conservation Corps.
