        Under Eppler's guidance, the Club has reinvigorated the minor league system with a draft focus on athletes.  The
       approach has resulted in strong prospects including OF Jo Adell, OF Brandon Marsh, RHP Griffin Canning, OF Jordyn
       Adams and RHP Chris Rodriguez. Eppler has also renewed the Angels focus in the international talent pool as well, with
       Baseball America placing three Halo farmhands (INF Arol Vera, INF Adrian Placencia and INF Jose Bonilla) in their Top
       35 International Prospect Class for 2020.
        Eppler, 44, is a native of San Diego, CA.  He graduated from the University of Connecticut with a finance degree
       in 1998 and began his sports career as an intern in the Washington Redskins Scouting Department.  He started his
       baseball career with the Colorado Rockies organization, where he was hired in 2000 as an area scouting supervisor for
       Southern California.  He would eventually join the front office in 2003 as the Assistant Director of Pro Scouting & Player
       Development (2003-2004).
        From 2004 thru 2015, Eppler worked his way up the New York Yankees Baseball Operations Department.  He was
       initially hired as the Assistant Director of Baseball Operations on November 1, 2004.  Eppler would eventually be
       promoted to Director of Professional Scouting (2006-09) and again as the Senior Director of Professional Personnel
       (2010-11).  He finished his fourth season as Yankees Assistant General Manager and first as Vice President in 2015.
       While assisting General Manager Brian Cashman, his responsibilities included player acquisitions, roster composition &
       management, staffing & personnel and player contract negotiations.  In addition, he oversaw all phases and personnel
       in the Yankees’ Major League and Professional Scouting Departments both domestically and internationally.
        Eppler and wife, Catherine, have two sons and reside in south Orange County.
