issues have been. I encourage you to view, review and reflect on our accomplishments and
contributions to our community this summer. They are very eloquently presented in this issue. As
Alpha Kappa Alpha women we should be proud of our accomplishments and contributions to our
community.
In addition to the on going local programs, events and activities, approximately 20 chapter members
attended the 2015 Leadership Seminar in Chicago, July 16-19 to explore “New Dimensions of
Leadership”. The conference offered 73 workshops, 6 forums and 6 certifications. Our chapter
