Van Buren School District

Voted Best of River Valley’s “Top
Public School System” for three
consecutive years, the Van Buren School
District (VBSD) has proudly earned
its reputation as a regional leader in
education.
VBSD serves families across the
community through its six elementary
schools (grades K-5), two middle
schools (grades 6-8), freshman academy
(grade 9), and high school (grades 10-
12). The District also provides preschool,
Gifted and Talented Education,
special education, and an alternative
education program. Additionally, the
District operates the River Valley Virtual
Academy (RVVA), which offers flexible
online learning options for students and
