88 GOD'S CHOSEN PEOPLE ENTER THE PROMISED LAND
MOSES A HE BURN G BUSH
But Moses said to God, ''Who am I that I should bring the Children of Israel out of Egypt?''
''I will be with thee,'' God answered, ''and this thou in shalt have for a sign that I have sent thee: When thou M shalt have led My children out of Egypt, thou shalt
o er sacri ce to God upon this mountain. Tell the people of Israel that the God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Jacob sent thee to them to lead them into a land owing with milk and honey.''
Moses said to God, "What if the Children of Israel should say to me, when I tell them that the God of their fathers hath sent me to them, 'What is His name?' What shall I tell them?"
God answered, ''I am VHO AM. Tell them that HE WHo Is hath sent thee."
