3. Gon SENDS TEN PLAGUES TO PUNISH THE EGYPTIANS
God spoke to Moses again and told him to go out to meet Pharao on the river bank, and to say to him, '' The Lord God of the Hebrews sent me to thee, say­ ing, 'Let My people go to sacri ce to Me in the desert.' Until now thou wouldst not hear." Then, lifting up his rod, Aaron struck the river, and the water was turned to blood. The river was polluted, the shes died, and the Egyptians could not drink the water. There was blood in all the land of Egypt. This was the rst of the plagues sent by God.
