formed miracles. When the news of this reached Nicodemus, he made up his mind to go and see Jesus in order to nd out whether or not He were the Mes­ sias. Not wishing the other Pharisees and the members of the Sanhedrin to know of his visit, he came during the night under cover of darkness. He said to Jesus, "Master, we know that Thou art a great teacher from God. For no one could do the things that Thou dost unless God were with him.''
That night, our divine Lord instructed Nicodemus and answered all his questions. He told him how God so loved the world that He gave His only-begotten Son, and that whoever would believe in Him would not
