PETER WALKS TO JESUS ON THE WATER
water. Thinking it was a ghost or a spirit of some kind, they became frightened and cried out in fear. But they heard the voice of Jesus saying to them, ''Be of good heart; it is I; fear ye not."
Peter said, "Lord, if it be Thou, bid me come to Thee upon the waters.'' And He said, ''Come.''
Peter immediately got out of the boat and started to walk toward Jesus upon the water. But the wind was strong and the waves were rolling high. Peter began to be afraid and at once he felt himself sinking. He cried out, saying, "Lord, save me." Immediately Jesus took hold of his hand and said to him, ''0 thou of little faith, why didst thou doubt 1'' Then they got
