JESUS MULTIPLIES THE LOAVES AND FISHES
give each one of them a morsel to eat.'' Jesus said to them, '' How many loaves have you 1'' One of the apostles, Andrew, the brother of Simon Peter, said, ''There is a boy here that hath ve barley loaves and two shes, but what are these among so many1" Jesus said, ''Make them sit down in companies of fty.'' The apostles did as Jesus commanded, and soon that great multitude was sitting down upon the green grass.
Then Jesus took the ve loaves and the two shes. Looking up to Heaven, He blessed them, and broke them, and distributed them to His apostles to set be­ fore the multitude.
