I want each of you to know and understand how much each of us in R2, R3 and R4 value these
opportunities to connect with you. (Hopefully you feel the same way). I strongly encourage
you to utilize opportunities such as the ones above to develop relationships with those
outside of your region. I think you will find your job more enjoyable and your experience at
Deere more enriching if you participate in these activities. In addition, these are great
developmental opportunities. They allow you to demonstrate that you are an active learner,
showcase your expertise, develop your presentation skills, work in a team environment,
expand your GLSG network, develop your business acumen, and even assume a leadership
role. In addition, participation in these activities closely align with our Business Integration,
Operational Excellence, and Global Talent Development ambitions.
