Dear President and members

We are indeed delighted to send this message to your Foundation. Our activities have slowed
down due to the Pandemic. Nevertheless our enthusiasm in engaging to assist those in need
would never get slowed down.

As everyone know Eastern University too had suspended the Teaching- Learning activities for the
last few months and turned to online mode. Thus our activities in distributing the fund to the
beneficiaries also halted since April this year. We will be able to resume by September this year
as students are now permitted to University premises. From the testimonies we receive from the
students, this assistance provided to them are a blessing to continue their higher education. We
thank you for the trust in us in carrying out this mission.

On behalf of Rotary club, Batticaloa I bring in congratulations and our best wishes to you and
your family members. We need to keep ourselves engaged in service to others which bring
benefits to those less fortunate people.
