Living Our Values
Values define who we are and our identity. They determine our
priorities and dictate our behaviours, choices and actions. The same
applies to organisations.
Core Value Company Performance
An organisation’s values are the core of its culture. While a vision articulates an Culture
organistion’s purpose, values offer a set of guidelines on the behaviours and mindsets
needed to achieve that vision. When we work in an organisation whose culture aligns
with our personal values, we feel empowered. We are able to bring our full selves to
work, our energy, our creativity and our enthusiasm thus leveraging a high-performance
culture.
Besides unifying the organisation, core values bring about predictability and
consistency in the actions that helps us achieve the results we seek. To further simplify,
our values are the basis on which we are expected to conduct ourselves in specific ASPIRE
situations. When organisations set values, they do so based on the ethics that they hold
to be important. Our Values (IIPACE) are integral to Firstsource because they shape our OUR V AL UE S
behaviours and help us take decisions that are right for both the organisation and us as
individuals.
