Meet Doctor James Miller Gordon M.D., F.R.C.P.C.

Dr. Gordon received his MD from Case

Western Reserve in 1982, trained in

neurology and internal medicine at

McGill University in Montreal, and prac-

ticed neurology outside Montreal from

1988-1996, where he was clinical in-

structor at the University of Sher-

brooke, chair of the Ethics Committee

of the Quebec Medical Association

and member of the Ethics Committee of the Canadian Medical

Association. After moving to Seattle in 1996, he has remained ac-

tive nationally as past vice-chair of the Ethics. Law, and Humani-

ties Committee and as outgoing chair of the Fair Hearing Panel

Committee of the American Academy of Neurology.

In 2009, Dr. Gordon received the AAN Award for Creative Expres-

sion of Human Values in Neurology. Dr. Gordon is currently clini-

cal associate professor of neurology at UW and is chair of the

Ethics Committee of Northwest Hospital.
