Careage Of Whidbey Patient And Employee Assiciation

Welcome to our assiciation to help patients and employees.

Our assiciation has several goals for patients and the employees

to help ensure the patients receive the best possible care and the

employees of the nurshing home are helped for special needs.

The assiciation is a non for profit corporatization of health care

needs. The board of directors are members of the Whidbey Island

community, patients, families of patients, employees of the

nurshing home and an owner of the nurshing home.

The assiciation funding are from local businesses, company grants

donations from patients families and local community funding

raising events such as auctions, fun walk - runs, holiday bake sale,

new years eve party, yard sales, trade books and others ideas.

Why an association benefits the nurshing home patients and em-

ployees. Most of the patients in Careage of Whidbey are paid for

by Medicaid which pays much less than a patient who pays their

cost of care. Some Medicaid patients need or require care that is

not paid by them, the association could pay for the care needed.
