APPLE SPICE BREAD WITH
POWDERED SUGAR

Made in an Instant Pot or a pressure cooker
2 eggs
½ cup (1 stick) butter
1 cup sugar
1 Tbsp apple pie spice
½ Tbsp cinnamon
1 pinch nutmeg
3 cups Eastern apples, peeled, cored and cubed
2 cups our
1 Tbsp baking powder
½ cup powdered sugar
Prepare the bread: Mix together eggs, butter, sugar, apple pie
spice, cinnamon and nutmeg until smooth and creamy. Stir in
the apples. In another bowl, mix the our and baking powder.
Slowly add the our mixture to the wet mixture. Pour the
mixture into a 7-inch springform pan, then tightly cover the
top edges with foil. Place a trivet and 2 cups of water in the
bottom of the Instant Pot or pressure cooker. Place the pan
on the steam rack/trivet. Cook the bread on high pressure
for 70 minutes. Carefully remove and set aside to cool.
Sprinkle powdered sugar on cake. Makes 1 loaf.
