Function of pipe

Communication pipe •The main pipeline connecting the water meter (This is part of the

service pipe between the water main and the meter).

• Pipe is usually made of galvanized steel / HDPE

Service pipe •This is the pipe linking the water main to the storage tank and

kitchen sink

•Supplying water to storage tank

•Pipe is usually made of galvanized steel / HDPE

Distribution pipe •This is the pipe connecting the storage tank to the various fixtures,

taps, sink, shower, etc for purposes of distribution of water supply

inside the building

Overflow pipe -To channel the overflow of water from the storage tank if the ball
valve which controls the water level does not function.

- Connected to the water storage tank with a distance of about 50

mm above the full of water level

Cleaning pipe Channel the unclean water out of the tank

Stopcock a valve that regulates the incoming flow of water
