Butterscotch Bars

             1 ¼ c unsalted butter

             3 ¼ c dark brown sugar
             3 ½ tbsp honey
             3 ½ tbsp corn syrup

             2 pcs XL eggs
             3 pcs XL egg yolks

             ¾ tbsp vanilla extract
             ¾ tbsp baking powder
             4 c all purpose flour

             ¾ tbsp salt
             1 ¼ c chopped roasted cashew nuts.










             In a small pot, melt the butter and butter compound over low heat.

             Add the sugar and stir until melted. Turn off the heat.


             Preheat the oven to 325°F and grease one 13x15 baking pan.

             In a large bowl, sift the flour with the baking powder. Add the salt.

             When the sugar mixture has cooled, add the eggs one at a time. Mix
             well after each addition.


             Add the flour mixture and mix just until incorporated. Add the vanilla
             and nuts.

             Pour the batter into the pan and bake for 30 minutes.

             Cool completely and cut into slices.
