Email Security Tips from IT
1. Always use the email encryption feature when
sending sensitive information such as computer
names, IP address or Driver’s License
numbers. To use encryption, anywhere in the
subject line type: DDSencryption or Secure (these
are not case sensitive).
2. Occasionally click on the Peach Icon on your
desktop and make sure everything is GREEN.
3. Don’t automatically forward company emails to a
third-party system.
4. Don’t use your company email address to send
and receive personal emails.
5. Don’t respond to emails that request a password
change and require divulging personal
information – no matter how official the source
appears.
6. Never open links from unknown persons.
MEET - Siddhartha Aleti
I recently joined the IT Division as Web
Master. I am very much excited to learn
about the agency, my new role and to work
with you all. I Started my career as a .NET
Developer. I finished my recent project at
Integrated DNA Technologies in Iowa and just
moved to Atlanta. I am a big foodie and
interested in going for outdoor trips and
restaurants with my wife. I love watching
sports on television. I sit at cubicle #25 and
am excited to meet everyone in person.
