Email Security Tips from IT

                        1. Always use the email encryption feature when
sending sensitive information such as computer
names, IP address or Driver’s License
numbers. To use encryption, anywhere in the
subject line type: DDSencryption or Secure (these
                             are not case sensitive).

                        2. Occasionally click on the Peach Icon on your
desktop and make sure everything is GREEN.

                        3. Don’t automatically forward company emails to a
                             third-party system.

                        4. Don’t use your company email address to send
                             and receive personal emails.

                        5. Don’t respond to emails that request a password
                             change and require divulging personal
information – no matter how official the source
                             appears.

                        6. Never open links from unknown persons.
