PREFACE

First, I want to thank God because of His Mercy this module can be
finished well.
Education is a conscious and systematic effort in developing student’s
potential and an effort of society and nation in preparing their young
generations for the social and nation life existence for the better future.
Those existences are symbolized by inheriting of culture and national

character that have been owned by society and nation for young generation.
In addition, the process of developing national culture and character is to
increase the quality of social and national life in the future. Various efforts
to develop culture and character of the nation have been done by the
government institute especially in the various units of National Education
Ministry. The efforts are related to the various levels and ways of education
although it is not comprehensive yet.

Because of those reasons, we present this module as an effort to help
national culture inheritance and process in developing national culture and
character for students. By the structured material, the various tasks and
the integrated character values, also various activities that can improve the
student’s creativity. It is hoped that they can motivate the students to
become more active and creative.
Do not forget to keep studying diligently and praying to God, respect
your parents and teachers, also love your friends.
