Part 1: The Appointed Times
Part 1 – The Appointed Times
These are the appointed times of the LORD,
holy convocations which you shall proclaim at the times appointed for them.
Leviticus 23:4
You may have heard of the Jewish holy days such as the Sabbath Day, Passover, the Feast
of Unleavened Bread, First Fruits, Pentecost, The Feast of Booths, The Day of Atonement, or The
Day of Trumpets. If so, then you have encountered the Appointed Times. They include days of
rest (Sabbaths), days of feasting (festivals), days of solemn ceremony, and various activities for
the people and priests (Levites) throughout each year.
These special days were instituted by the Lord Himself. They are holy days and events
that the Israelites were required to observe throughout each year at the specific times that the
Lord prescribed.
