From the older children in the home we received lots of big smiles and warm welcomes. However,
many of the older baby and toddler age children were less than impressed with our presence!
Amara wouldn’t look directly at us at all- but I did catch her checking me out at lunch with a one eyed
peek. And adorable Tyson did not hesitate to let enormous tears flow whenever we got too close to
him.
Ella was very stoic in response to our attempts to engage with her. And Hayden gave us a moment’s
consideration- but then took off quickly, putting his new walking skills to good use!
