               D.4.0 METEOROLOGICAL CONDITION


               Information about the prevailing meteorological  conditions in the vicinity of
               the site

               The  prevailing  meteorological  condition  for  KT1  &  KT2  WTP  is  based  on  the
               published  Malaysian  Meteorological  Department  data  recorded  at  Malacca
               International  Airport  generated  from  Iowa  Environmental  Mesonet  website.  This  is
               the  nearest meteorological  data  station and  is  assumed  to  be  representative.  The
               key parameters of the meteorological condition are summarized below.


               D.4.1 Temperature and Humidity

               The monthly average daily temperature and relative humidity data from September
               2018 to August 2019 shows in Table D.4.1 below.

               The wind rose summary from 1  July 2014 to 31  August 2019 is shown in Figure
               D.4.2 which indicated the wind from the north-east is the prevailing wind. The period
               of calm accounts for 48.6% of the time.
