               A.4.0 PURITY OF HAZARDOUS SUBSTANCE


               The degree of purity of the hazardous substance and the names of the main
               impurities and their percentages

               A.4.1  Purity of Chlorine

               The purity of Chlorine delivered to KT1 & KT2 WTP is determined by the chlorine
               manufacturer based  on international standards. The manufacturer of chlorine that
               supplies chlorine to the water treatment works carries out periodic analysis to ensure
               that it meets the specifications. Chlorine produced by the manufacturer conforms to
               both RSAJ Specification of Chlorine Used for Portable Water Supply (Specification
               SAJ CH/CL/001) and Malaysian Standard MS 171:2013 - Specification for Chlorine
               Used in Potable Water Supply. The chlorine supplied has a minimum requirement as
               listed in Table A.4.1 below.
