INTRODUCTION

WH0 IS AN IDEAL TEACHER?

An ideal teacher is one that cares about all learners in an equal manner. This is
a teacher who is very well dedicated to her profession, finds appropriate methods

to make sure that active learning takes place. A teacher who creates a
harmonious learning environment and creates equal opportunities so that all

learners can participate freely allowing them to make mistakes and learning from
them without being reprimanded. An ideal teacher is one that is inclusive, makes

sure that each and every lesson is accommodates every learner. This means

that the lesson does not offend any of the learners with regards to their religion,
abled or disabled or those that belong to the LGBTI+ community.

The teacher should engage in reflective practice so that he or she can improve

on her teaching and her relationship with learners. An ideal teacher is a mediator

and not a dispenser of knowledge, she/he is always at a quest to improve is
his/her pedagogy. Ideal teachers are guided by their own teaching philosophy

capable of integrating content into the learner’s reality by creating an
environment that makes the learner the centre of learning.

WHAT IS AN IDEAL CASSROOM?

An ideal classroom is one that accommodates all learners and has the proper
resources for learning and teaching occur. It is inclusive in such a way that it has

all necessary resources that aid in learning. Does not contain posters that might
offend the people in the classroom. It has all the necessary space and is well

ventilated so that all learners are accommodated. An ideal classroom embraces
the use of technology, offers a positive effect in assisting learners create health

y working relationships amongst themselves. Respect is the core value learners

accept and adapt to differences,
