WHAT IS THE IDEAL SCHOOL FOR THE S.A. CONTEXT IN THE ERA
OF 4IR?

The ideal school for the SA context would be the one that works hand in

hand with parents so that learners become self-regulated and are
responsible for their own learning. A school that works hand in hand with the

police and community to ensure safety and security of learners and their

teachers. A school whereby teachers work together to ensure that active
learning takes place to produce quality results.

In this day and age, technology is taking over and we are currently talking

about fourth industrial revolution. This means that teachers need to employ

new pedagogies that equip learners with 21 century skills and that they
must also incorporate technology in their daily teaching. It embraces the

idea that every learner is capable of learning regardless of their race, gender
disability etc. The school offers an environment that is conducive to learning

and safe. The school should strive to embrace diversity and represent the
community it is in.
