Trump’s Economic Era

                  GLOBAL GOVERNMENT

In his address on the state of the union to a joint
session of Congress in 1991, President George H. W.
            Bush stated,

“What is at stake is more than one
small country; it is a big idea: a new
world order, where diverse nations are
drawn together in common cause to
                   achieve the universal aspirations of
                   mankind—peace and security, freedom,
and the rule of law. Such is a world
worthy of our struggle and worthy of
                   our children’s future.”

As the size of the federal government grew during
the 1800s, politicians adopted the practice of
meritocracy whereby the civil service could not lose
their jobs for political reasons to maintain continuity
from one administration to the next. Some unelected
officials have an agenda and act to put limits on
presidential power. Problems arise when the ambitions
of civil servants exceed the parameters of their jobs.
Their modus operandi is not to overthrow the
government, but to resist, to sew confusion, to cause
delays, and leak damaging information to a compliant
            press.

The term “Deep State” was originally used by
Peter Dale Scott back in the 1950’s. In his writings, he
described the deep state as a parallel system to the
public system, inside and outside the federal
