The second day saw Association business underway, followed by addresses
to conference from the RACO General Secretary and RACO President, and also
by Minister with Responsibility for Defence, Mr Paul Kehoe TD and the Chief
of Staff, Vice Admiral Mark Mellett DSM. This was followed by RACO’s gala re-
ception and banquet. What follows is a selection of articles and speeches on
the issues which conference addressed. Photographs by Peter Shaughnessy.
