C3.3 Floor Movement Joints

Floor movement joints must be installed in the
new ceramic floor to reflect existing movement
joint layouts. New movement joints in drive thru
buildings should be DILEX-BWB from Schluter
System:

Specialist advice to be sought for tiling /
overtiling adjacent other expansion joints.

Expansion joints to be laid in full bed of ARDEX
adhesive as manufacturers product data and
application instructions enclosed. Proprietary
expansion joint cover to be grey to match
anthracite grout and installed prior to main floor
tile grouting.
