IF YOU USE A CAR TO DRIVE PEOPLE DURING THE PANDEMIC
If you are transporting people during the Coronavirus pandemic
special precautions must be taken:
You must wear PPE at all times
Your passenger must wear PPE at all times
Your passenger must sit in the back seat of the car wearing a seat belt
You must ensure the car is cleaned—door handles, window buttons
places that passengers or you might touch
You must use disinfectant wipes that are labelled for viruses
While in the car with passenger(s) Ventilate – try and keep a window
partially open during the duration of the journey.
Avoid physical contact but if you have too, before touching any luggage or
touching a passenger you must apply hand gel
After dropping of a passenger you must keep window open for 10-15
mins
If in any doubt, contact your team leader or co-ordinator before any journey
