KEEPING YOURSELF AND OTHERS SAFE
Practice government guidelines on keeping
yourself and others safe.
There may be times when this is not possible,
you may be volunteering with vulnerable people
who need assistance.
Make sure you always wear your mask to protect
others, use provided hand gel to keep your
hands sanitised. If you can wash your hands
make sure you do and mostly use your
judgement.
Never put yourself at risk
About PPE: You must wear PPE at all times.
Please ensure that you wear it correctly covering you
nose and mouth at all times. Many people are
vulnerable to catching coronavirus – protect yourself
and others by wearing PPE correctly
Whilst you are volunteer you may be in a pharmacy,
testing site or outside. You must make sure you
follow Health and Safety:

How to evacuate if you are in a building
Where meeting points are
Comfortable clothing:
Ensure you wear suitable warm clothing and
footwear, you may be sitting or standing for
periods of time. You may be outside
depending on your volunteer role.
