ABOUT YOUR ROLE

        This information is a general guide to the roles you may be carrying out during
        the pandemic.  You will also be sent a full Role Description about the role/s you
        will be carrying out.


                      Whatever your role is, it is important that you do not take on
                      tasks outside of your role description.  This is to keep you safe
                      and others safe




        SKILLS AND ATTITUDE WHILST VOLUNTEERING DURING THE PANDEMIC


                Ability to follow confidentiality requirements and the
                 ability to work within the boundaries of your role
                Be understanding of the issues that some people may
                 be experiencing
                Able to provide a flexible approach to your role
                Friendly and welcoming manner




            The following requirements are important to protect
            the safety of both you and residents while you are volunteering.  It
            is important that these are adhered to the following:

                You must not have any underlying health conditions that make
                 you particular susceptible to Coronavirus
                You must not be in a vulnerable category
                You will be required to wear PPE at all times whilst volunteering
                Ability to sit / stand for periods is required


                If you are 60 or over you are more at risk

            No formal skills are necessary, full orientation and briefing will be
