pushed out of their homes and the Japanese have kept to
themselves. Re-open the scene with the young people meeting with

the council.

(Young Person) Today, I lost my job. I was told that they needed to slow

down production. How could they lie to us like this? (Looking to the
council). I’ve seen plans for more growth. They used me and you’re next.

(Longstand Begay) You are not the only one affected. They have planned
several more layoffs until they have moved in all their people. (Looking

around the room). We, as the council, tried to tell you all they didn’t
care. It’s not Japan we dislike, remember that. It’s the Japan United

Corp. (Gate Guard’s son) We were wrong. Even I was fooled by them,
with their words of change and smiles.

At that moment, Blackfoot walks up to the podium

(Blackfoot) Some men talk of peace but in their hearts they mean war.
Our people will not suffer for much longer. It is time we remember a
