The final judgment approaches,
And Christ makes haste in His coming,
He longs to find us united
Faithful to His blessed will.

In Jesus Christ my soul is happy,
His gift is so precious to me;
His voice soothes my soul and I'm peaceful,
His face forgives me of my sin.

Are flooding my soul,

A long time ago He did find me,
He made me a sheep of his flock;
In His arms of love I was taken,
Where thousands of fortunes I found.

Surrounded by love so paternal,
His grace can now comfort my soul;
I'm flooded by His Holy Spirit,
A noble, and powerful gift.

Someday I will be just as He is,
When I leave this body behind;
Meanwhile as a faithful disciple,
I vow to remain by His side.
