        Oh, the cross of my Lord, so despised by the world,
             There's a wondrous attraction for me;
          For the dear Lamb of God, left His glory above,
              Giving llP His own life, to save mine.
                          3
        In the old rumied cross, stained with blood so divine.
                  A wondroljs beauty I see;
       He was nailed to the cross, where He suffered and died,
                To pardon and to sanctify me.
                          4
            To my Lord Jesus Christ, I will ever be true,
              If shame and reproach gladly bear;
         Then He'll call me someday, to my home far away,
               Where His glory forever I'll share.

     Here l.lpon this earth His children, are but pilgrims passing by,
       Longing they are ever waiting, joyful their eternal home.
                       CHORUS
        ///We shall meet Him/// In a land beyond the stars,
    //We shall meet Him// Just across the crystal rivers, far beyond.
                          2
      Nothing here is ~verlasting, all we see shall come to pass,
         But look into the horizon, the eternal home is nigh!
                          3
      Every bond on earth is broken, by our death as we depart,
        But we shall be reunited on the morning of the Lord.
                          4
    Oh, the joys of that glad meeting. with the saints who wait for us,
        With the Lord in royal comforts, dwelling for eternity.
