For the light of the sun he could not see,
In his living he was blind and so unsure,
In a world full of danger and of fear.
CHORUS
But one day full of the sunlight I could see
And its rays all shined so brightly in splendor,
And I felt so very happy when I saw,
As God showed me of the greatness of His work.
So this light is an Apostle of the Lord,
Out of darkness and from error rescued me,
He taught me in the way that I should go,
And this day with him I am so overjoyed.

There were gods made of wood and metal, too,
With devotion I also worshipped them,
With great faith I waited their reply,
Oh, what sadness to live mistakenly.
But soon I heard a very beauteous voice,
And it told me, "Offend the Lord no more,
Come with me and I am going to teach you,
About the living God whom you should give praise."

The world in its denial can't receive,
For in their hearts the work has not arrived,
They disdain of the truth and word of God
That an Apostle comes to teach us all.
By grace all of these People accept you,
We consider you a friend of the Lord,
We no longer ignore the way of truth,
Because your word has brought us liberty.
