The beloved Bride of Christ is now preparing,
She's set to meet Jesus Christ. her bridegroom, and Her Lord;
He's coming soon clad in clouds with all of his saints,
To take at last the Church He redeemed by blood.

This is the Church which belongs to Jesus,
It was once hidden within the desert;
Now she appears with such splendor,
Just like an army with banners;
So She may find Her loving Lord,
Who purchased Her with His holy love.

Dressed in white and the most magnificent vestments,
Which God himself gave to Her, holy garments of the Saints;
He has sealed Her with His mighty Holy Spirit,
He will take Her to His heavenly kingdom.

The triumphant will be shining up in glory,
And like the sun they will gleam for eternal ages more;
There Lord Jesus Christ will bestow upon His Bride,
Eternal life and a crown upon Her brow.

The return of our Lord is fast approaching,
Also His Church which is now overflowing with His love;
And holiness will be Her strong shield forever,
And She will dwell in the city of Zion.
