My people hearken to my voice, oh, listen to my call,
I saved thee for I am your God, I seek to give thee peace.

///Lord teach my heart to heed thy word///
I will be satisfied.

Oh, if my people were but true, I'd save their souls this day,
I'd break the shackles of their shame,
And grant them all my peace.

My people will not heed my words, their ears are deaf to me,
I will leave them in agony, I know they will be lost

If they repent and come to me, I will be merciful,
My power will suffice them all, to heal and free their souls.
5
I'll sate their hunger with daily bread, and rich honey and milk,
Their sated souls will sing and cheer, rejoicing in their fate.
