Thorn In The Heart
"Yes. I understood...! I married you when I was eighteen
and never give up my hope to built our happiness. Also, you
were always worried about anything." Nguyen's grandpa
interrupted.
"But you were sixty-five years old now...!"
"Yes. You were less than me two years. I married you when
you were sixteen and were a beautiful young woman." Nguyen’s
grandpa gave a deep sigh.
"Time was going so fast and does not wait for anyone
else...! I could not finish anything that I had promised you after
we had married."
Grandma gave a lovely look at Nguyen's grandpa. Her eyes
seemed looked back at the past of their youth. She said:
"Then, I never see your face and heard your voice. So you
do not worry about promise broken.”
"Yes, I knew you were ashamed, and we never met each
other before we marry."
"I had married you by the ideas of my mom."
Nguyen’s grandpa had a little smile.
“Me too...”
"I knew you loved me at the first time we met at my house
by a matchmaker. We had three sons and a daughter now."
"Yes. I do love you until now."
"I understood what kind you are...”
“So I worked hard to make you happy."
