Thorn In The Heart

were a disorder of any direction for away from the fire and
         bombs.

The B-26 bombers and T-28 fighter airplanes left the village
and lost in the cloud since the bombs stopped dropping onto the
village are temporary at the moment. The canons of both sides
continued to fire back and forth in the North of the village. The
shells broke out mixing up with many guns’ sounds of both
sides, fizzled in the air while dropping down and made the great
         consternation to the people.

The bombs and cannon shells exploded anywhere in the
village as the peal of fire thunders, sent the chunks of woods,
bricks, and metals flying up through the air. Most the houses
were flaming, collapsed by the explosions that sent the columns
of smoke and fire into the sky.

Also, all the sound of the war blended and overlapped the
cry, screaming for the help of the people in the village, which
they roared with pain and lay anywhere on the ground.

At this time, Nguyen's grandparent was in the living room.
His grandpa did not pay attention to the group Viet-Minh
commander. He gave an angry look at them after he had shaken
his head and sighed. In suddenly, he hurried running back to his
room, took his gold and money, which he placed in a safety box
under the floor and his bed head close to the wall. Nguyen's
grandpa ran out of the room after he had put all his personal
properties into a small bag and bound onto his back.

He rushes to hold Nguyen's right hand and pushed his wife’s
         back and said:

"Hurry up...! Hurry up...! We must run out of the house soon
as soon possible. Late we will die right here...!"
